Effects on the mind
Melissa is a wonderful oil for soothing all states of
nervousness, hysteria, irritability and great anger. It has a
powerful calming sedative almost hypnotic effect on the nervous
system creating a sense of euphoria.
Effects on the body

Use balm tea to relieve cramps, dyspepsia,
flatulence, colic, liver, spleen, bladder troubles, chronic
bronchial catarrh, and some forms of asthma.

May be used during pregnancy, for
headaches, tension, and dizziness.

Use in massage as a chest rub for
treatment of colds, bronchitis, and severe coughs
Effects on the spirit
Soothes the angry spirit.

Non Toxic - Possible sensitization
and dermal irritation: use in low dilution only.
