Use 5-30 drops essential oil to 1 oz carrier oil

 

Mugwort Pure Essential Oil

Botanical Name:  Artemisia Vulgaris

Family:  Asteraceae

Method of extraction: Distillation

Blends with: The powerful herbaceous licorice type fragrance of Mugwort blends well with patchouli, lavandin, oak moss, rosemary, pine, sage, clary sage and cedarwood.
 

Effects on the mind

Mugwort is a very stimulating oil keeping you alert to your surroundings.  When used with other oils such as rosemary and sage may improve concentration and loss of memory. 

Effects on the body

  • A tonic for the womb.  Use for painful or delayed menstruation.

  • Use in a massage blend for aching joints and muscles.

  • A natural wart and worm remover.

  • May be used to control epilepsy and also fever.

Effects on the spirit

In Europe the herb has been used in association with superstition and witchcraft and was seen as a protective charm against evil and danger. 

Special Precautions

  • ORAL TOXIN - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE INTERNALLY!!!!!

  • Do not use during pregnancy

  • Do not use on children

  • Use in moderation if you suffer from panic attacks as it is very stimulating.  I personally suffer from panic attacks and noticed an increased heart rate and shaky feeling when I inhale the oil directly from the bottle.  It is best used when blended with other oils.
